Sorry this didn't help. I am using Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 7 and the problem still exists, exactly as described above.
It is definitely a problem associated with Internet Explorer. I have an alternative browser Slimjet and have no problems when printing online PDF documents from there.
This is definitely another annoying Microsoft bug. I'm surprised that with so many complaints a fix hasn't been issued yet. Internet Explorer seems to be continuing its tradition of being a few steps behind other browsers.
